In recent years, the city has experienced rapid growth driven by internal migration, precarious employment, and limited access to basic services. This situation is particularly critical in peripheral settlements such as <strong>Se\u00f1or de los Milagros<\/strong>, located in the district of Yarinacocha.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most families in this community live on limited incomes, rely on informal economic activities, and have little or no access to digital technologies at home. According to Peru\u2019s National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), <strong>only 30% of households in rural and peri-urban areas of Ucayali have internet access<\/strong>, deepening educational inequalities and limiting the development of essential digital skills among children and adolescents. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within this context, the educational and pastoral center managed by the Dominican Sisters of the Annunciation provides educational support and human development opportunities through tutoring programs, vacation workshops, and vocational training activities. La formalizaci\u00f3n del centro abrir\u00eda nuevas puertas de financiaci\u00f3n, validaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica y reconocimiento para los estudiantes.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This proposal therefore seeks not only to improve current educational conditions but also to advance toward a dignified, innovative, and sustainable educational model in one of the most vulnerable areas of the Peruvian Amazon.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>General objective:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/>To promote inclusive, dynamic, and technology-based education in the settlement of Se\u00f1or de los Milagros (Pucallpa, Peru) through the creation of a computer lab and the strengthening of non-formal educational activities that develop digital, artistic, and communication skills among vulnerable children and young people, as a first step toward the future official accreditation of the educational center.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Beneficiaries<\/strong>: <strong>25 young people<\/strong> participating in vocational training workshops, including sewing and event decoration.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Teachers and volunteers<\/strong> working at the educational and pastoral center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>26 children enrolled in the academic support and tutoring program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Total project budget<\/strong>: \u20ac11,693.48<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ongoing project during 2025\u20132026 Specifications: Pucallpa, the capital of the Province of Coronel Portillo in the Amazonian region of Ucayali, is one of Peru\u2019s fastest-growing urban areas, characterized by significant informal expansion.
