In both contexts, children and young people face barriers to continuing their education: lack of resources for transportation, food, school supplies, and uniforms, putting at risk their right to a holistic and quality education. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In both contexts, children and young people face barriers to continuing their education: lack of resources for transportation, food, school supplies, and uniforms, putting at risk their right to a holistic and quality education.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/anunciatasolidaria.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/becas-escolares-filipinas.jpg?resize=1024%2C768&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4034\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anunciatasolidaria.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/becas-escolares-filipinas-980x735.jpg 980w, https:\/\/anunciatasolidaria.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/becas-escolares-filipinas-480x360.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The project<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Asia Scholarships Program<\/strong> seeks to guarantee the educational continuity of vulnerable children and young people in these communities through:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Transportation and meal subsidies<\/strong> for primary, secondary, and senior high school students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support for the purchase of school supplies.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Holistic accompaniment and formation<\/strong>, including catechesis meetings, community service activities, and academic and personal follow-up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Occasional food assistance for the most affected families<\/strong> to strengthen their food security. This project enables beneficiaries to develop their human, academic, and Christian capacities, with the vision that they may integrate into the workforce, support their families, and contribute positively to society. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objective<\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure that children and young people from the communities of Calamba City and San Carlos can continue their education in a holistic manner, overcoming the economic barriers that limit their academic and personal development.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Beneficiaries: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Calamba City<\/strong>: 21 primary school students, 7 secondary school students, 3 senior high school students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>San Carlos<\/strong>: 21 students from Anunciata School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In total, <strong>52 students<\/strong> receive direct support.
