Maintenance of Ruli Hospital in Rwanda: solidarity support to ensure dignified healthcare for more than 119,000 people

7 Aug, 2025 | Health project

Project implemented during the 2017–2018 academic year

With healthcare coverage reaching more than 119,000 people across 191 villages, as well as referrals from several neighboring districts, Ruli Hospital, partially managed by the Dominican Sisters of the Annunciation, is an essential pillar of healthcare in the region.

With 185 beds, an average of 129 births per month, and daily outpatient and inpatient care, ensuring the hospital’s sustainability remains a constant challenge.

Through Anunciata Solidarity Foundation (FASOL), we contributed to the financing of maintenance works, helping to guarantee the continuity of its services under dignified and safe conditions for both patients and healthcare staff.
