What began in 1991 as a personal initiative by Sr. Rosa Font Fuster in a neighborhood marked by violence and neglect has grown into a music school that now serves 75 children and young people. Its mission is simple yet powerful: to replace weapons with flutes and offer at-risk children a place where they can dream through the transformative power of art.
Following Sister Rosa’s passing in 2013, two of her first students, Camila and Antonio, carried her legacy forward by teaching in the same community garage where it all began. Over time, the need for a dedicated and dignified space became increasingly evident. In 2024, that dream began to take shape thanks to the support of Anunciata Solidarity Foundation (FASOL) and funding from a private company that recognized the project’s transformative impact.
Beyond the construction of the new facility, FASOL has supported this dream through:
🎓 Pedagogical training for three instructors (2019): €1,300
🧑🎓 Annual educational scholarships (2023–2025): 15 students supported each year
